Well, the Wonder Girls are back with their first new work in 2009 with a remake of Fin.K.L’s Now for KTF Ever X-Slim. The song which was first released in 2000 to much popularity has been rearranged by JYP with a slower beat and a rap portion.

how i stumbled along to the wonder girls music

well during the yer 2008 I was watching T.V. and I was just flipping through the chanels. Then I saw this korean music show.And it was the show "music core" and it was Son Dam Bi performing her song "crazy". And i really liked her song so I kept watching.And then the nextact up was the Wonder girls performing their son "nobody". Then ever since then i really liked the wonder girls because of their singing and preforming sons and i like alot of the songs that they sing I like the meanings many of their song.And thats how I got in to the wonder girls music. And thats a fraction of why i wanted to learn korean to understand what their saying and another reason I dont want to say. And for the first words i knew how to say in korean was "i love you" the reason why i learned that first is because alot of songs i first listened to in korean mostly was love songs. and for the first thing i knew how to write in korean is . . . . . another BIG story Lol.

The Wonder Girls
I was interested about the Wonder Girls because they’re really good singing group. This topic was connected to me because I wanted to know about other foreign countries music and I stumbled along Koreas music and heard the Wonder Girls music and I liked their singing. Before I did my research on the wonder girls I knew some what about them that the Wonder Girls consist of 5 girls whose names are Yoo-bin, Sun-ye , Ye-eun , Sun-mi and so-hee. And that Hyun-ah left the group and got replaced by Yoo-bin. In my paper I find out about why Hyun-ah left and why Sun-ye is the leader of the Wonder Girls, and lastly what was their childhoods like.

When the Wonder Girls just got big Hyun-ah left the group. So I begin with why she leave. Well ,The Wonder Girls’ agency JYP Entertainment had this to say about Hyun-ah, “Because Hyun Ah is so young, her sudden faint gives us reasoning that it was hard for her to follow the activities of the group. We did worry because she would often throw up, and ultimately she fainted and was admitted to the hospital. Fortunately her condition is getting better and she will be joining the rest of the group with their activities by the 2nd.”(JYP entertainment).Even though JYP entertainment said that she will be returning she is actually training to become solo.

Every group has a leader to follow and Min Sun-ye is the leader to the Wonder Girls. To start of with why is Sun-ye the leader of the Wonder Girls. Well a lot of people say this towards Sun-ye as the leader “Everyone has a role to play in the Wonder Girls. And right now, there’s absolutely no reason to change the leader or whatsoever” (shenyue). I would say the same thing because she has the traits of a leader. She always takes care of things when they go wrong. She practices and practices until she gets it. She is also very caring and watchful of others and once she took care of so hee another member of the Wonder Girls when So-hee was sick with a cold she stayed by her side until she was well again. She even double checks before every performance if the mics and the rest of the group are in the right positions.

Many that know the Wonder Girls ponder about what their childhoods were like. So Lastly that makes me want to know about their childhoods. Well all the Wonder Girls always practiced to be a singer when they were young and that was their biggest dream and they got it. Kim yoo-bin the oldest of the Wonder Girls her dad when she moved to L.A. he would drive her to San Francisco almost a 6 hr drive every Sunday just to practice singing even though he didn’t like the idea of her wanting to be a singer. So-hee also wanted to be a singer even though times were rough like when her parents got divorced when she was just in 4th grade ,she always looked to the bright side. Sun-ye she was always with her grandparents because her mom died when she was just a baby and her dad didn’t really want to take care of her, so grandmother took care of her and always encouraged her to do the best she could at singing. As for sun mi “.Sun Mi’s father passed away when she was little and she lived in the rural area with her mum and elder brother. As life was difficult, she often had to pass on the chance to come to Seoul for study.” (Sun Ye, Sun Mi & Ye Eun sad stories). And Sun-mi also tried to look on the bright side of things. For Ye-eun she was always the top 1 student but she just wanted to be a singer.

Well I found out why Hyun-ah left so quickly at their beginning and why they chose Sun-ye as the leader of the Wonder Girls and what was their childhoods like. Before I did my research about the Wonder Girls I thought they were just picked by JYP entertainment just because they could sing good and that they looked good but know I see how they got to their fame and I see them more then a good voice. It was kind of easy to find information about them because a lot of people admire the wonder girls and do articles about them. This knowledge about the wonder girls affected me by following what they did when they was young to keep following your dream.
